Studio Etiquette

* Treat all teachers and students with the utmost respect at all times.
*No running/screaming
*Keep non dancers off studio floor
*Arrive on time
*Keep cell phones in dance bags
*No gum chewing in class
*Wear class appropriate attire
*No street shoes on studio floors
*Water bottles are permitted in the studio
Policies
Ages

Creative Movement - Ages 3-5
Tap and Jazz Combo - Ages 5-7
Ballet - Ages 7+
Pointe - Ages 13+ (by instructor permission)
Tap - Ages 8+
Jazz - Ages 8+
Hip Hop - Ages 8+
Modern/Contemporary - Ages 8+
Lyrical - 8+
Dress Code
Creative Movement - Pink tights, any color leotard, pink ballet shoes, hair pulled back, off neck and out of face

Combo Class - Tights, any color leotard, or leggings (no shorts) and fitted shirt, black slip on jazz shoe, black tap shoe, hair pulled back, off neck and out of face
​
Ballet/Pointe - Pink tights, any color leotard, pink ballet shoes, hair pulled back, off neck and out of face
​
Tap and Jazz - Leggings (no shorts), fitted top, black slip on jazz shoe, black tap shoes, hair pulled back, off neck and out of face
​
Hip Hop - Sweatpants or leggings that come below the knee, fitted top, clean sole sneakers, hair pulled back, off neck and out of face
​
Modern/Contemporary - Leotards or fitted tops, leggings (no shorts), tan half sole turner shoe, hair pulled back, off neck and out of face

Severe Weather
In case of inclement weather or other unforseen emergency, classes will be rescheduled for a later date. Studio cancellations will be posted on the Laura Hayden's School of Dance Facebook page, on Twitter @lauradance5678, or through email/text
